WHO WE ARE

We facilitate safe learning spaces

Learning is best accomplished in dynamic spaces where learners and facilitators meet as equals to create change. Wellness is committed to making such spaces possible for the people we come into contact with. We do this for everyone but are especially interested in spaces for young people to take an active lead in the development of their own wellbeing.

— Our Mission

To provide superior quality psychological services to the East African Community ensuring that individuals live fulfilling lives through better wellbeing.

— Our Vision

To have a footprint on the mental health landscape of East Africa.

— Our Story

Wellness Psychological Services (Wellness) is the brainchild of young psychologists who found that the biggest barrier to Ugandan’s help-seeking is stigma and a lack of knowledge about mental health.
As a result, Wellness seeks to increase our community’s understanding of mental health especially mental health literacy and mental health help-seeking behaviour. Our hope is to be part of an East Africa that is more inclusive and better able to support people’s mental health and wellbeing.
